Georgia Pastor Commits Suicide Right Before Sunday Service

Members of the Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church in Macon, GA were stunned to learn their pastor committed suicide as they waited for him to arrive for his sermon. The Rev. Teddy Parker Jr., 42, took his own life only to be discovered by his wife shortly after.
Reports Christian Today:
The 42-year-old Georgia pastor tragically killed himself with a “self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
The father-of-two’s body was discovered by his wife Larrinecia Parker in the driveway of their home after he did not show up for service at his church.
Russell Rowland told The Christian Post that Parker had sent his wife and children to church ahead of him on Sunday morning. His family and congregation were waiting for him to show up and preach the message.
“When he didn’t show up they went looking for him. I’m very surprised because he didn’t preach that. He preached totally against it. It’s something that the congregation don’t really understand.”
His death comes as a shock to the church and family, as no one saw it coming.
Warning signs have been linked to a 2010 sermon, ”Facing Your Storm With Confidence” where the reverend questioned his relationship with God stating, “I try to serve but I don’t feel like God is using me. And there are times in your life when God purposely withdraws from you, he doesn’t withdraw for the sake of leaving you but he withdraws so you can grow and mature.”
The news of Parker’s death just adds to the mountain of unfortunate news that has been found in the church as of late, including flings with gay demons and Bishops spreading diseases through communion.
Condolences go out to his family and congregation. Check out the gallery for pics of Rev. Parker and a few of his sermons during a more happier period in his life.

Boy,13, kills classmate over damaged earphone

Lokoja – The police in Kogi have arrested a 13-year-old boy, Yinusa Halilu, for allegedly killing his friend and classmate, Mustapha Kazeem, 12, over a damaged earpiece.
ACP Austin Evakhabokun, the Acting Commissioner of Police in Kogi, made this known to journalists on Monday in Lokoja.
Evakhabokun said that a scuffle ensued between the suspect and the deceased, both primary school pupils, when the suspect demanded the return of the earpiece he lent to the deceased.
He said that the late Kazeem said that the earpiece was damaged and Halilu demanded monetary compensation for the damaged earphone.
He said that the demand enraged the deceased who reportedly called the suspect a thief, adding that this resulted in an exchange of hot words, as Halilu insisted on collecting the money by force.
Evakhabokun said that Kazeem became furious and rushed into the house, brought out a sharp cutlass and inflicted cuts on the suspect’s head.
He said that the suspect reportedly rushed to a nearby restaurant with his machete cuts and picked a sharp knife, with which he stabbed the deceased in the chest, leading to his death.
In an interview with newsmen, the suspect said that he borrowed the telephone earpiece from someone, saying that he insisted on replacing it since he did not know what to tell the owner.
He said that Kazeem was his friend and that they were both in Primary Five.
Halilu said that the deceased hit him on his head with a machete, adding that in retaliation, he stabbed him in the chest, which led to his death.
The police also paraded 14 armed robbery suspects, including an 85-year-old man, whose nephew was involved in car robbery, and a homicide suspect.
